Immediate, Practical Ideas!

I am much more impressed by the book than I expected to be. While some of the ideas might be a bit dated (bath sundaes), they are easy to update (foot sundaes - scrub, lotion, puff, and nail polish "cherry" on top). I've been able to easily apply the resources and ideas in this book, OR to adapt them to my group's needs and tastes. There's a lot to ignite and inspire "new" ideas in your women's leadership team to apply to your women's ministries.
I find myself turning to this book again and again for inspiration and truly practical ideas for our women's group. We've used ideas from each section of this book: the ready-made Bible study materials to help us through the summer months... several of the service ideas to put life into our volunteer programs... one of the leaders took the weight-loss club idea and created geographical support and walking clubs, regardless of the plan those in the club were following... and of course, the leader helps!
That's the beauty of this book! The ideas are small paragraphs -- enough to spark your creativity and help you to see how it fits into your ministry. This book is a great addition to any women's ministries library. You'll find yourself turning to it over and over for those creative sparks and practical helps.

I am responsible for planning activities for just one of the small groups at our church. This book has a lot of great ideas. Some I am using right out of the book, others I easily adapted to fit our needs. It is a book that I will be sharing with other church leaders.

A Must Have Resource for Women's Ministry Teams

I have to say I was absolutely thrilled when this showed up on my doorstep. This book is packed full of practical ideas, special events, service projects, bible studies, and other ideas for spiritual growth. One of the nicest features is that it is categorized literally like a handbook in 9 sections. Each of those sections broken down into individual ideas. You can easily find what your looking for. It also includes reproducibles! If you run or are involved in a women's ministry team this is a priceless resource. (and yes, most importantly the best feature of all is the practical and fabulous ideas that can be applied to any sized group!)
