Schiffer sells history!

Once again Schiffer does great justice to a WW2 icon that continues to the present time! Great photos, information little known obscure testing and manufacturing facts. I like the chapters on the different models used and especially the 6x6 variants of which I've never seen before! In my early military career, I drove the M152 series jeep and later as a medic the M718. FLA medical jeep! This is another great Schiffer book that is a valuable, cost effective,treatise on a very Important vehicle do WW2 and beyond! While on deployment to Iraq in 2005, I drove a. GAZ Russian jeep variant we got from the Iraqi army! The Jeep lives on!!

pretty nice, large, hardcover book. Great detail and information within, seems pretty accurate in the parts onglanced over before wrapping as a gift.

A great book about great Jeeps.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who drives a WWII Jeep as his only transportation. Hsaven't presented it yet but read through it twice myself in the meantime! Very well researched with lots of unique pix. As a kid, I learned to drive at ten on our '46 CJ2A farm Jeep and have always loved these early ones way more than the new V-8 powered monsters!
