I Am From This Era . . . .

Not only was I attracted to this book because I grew up in the 60's, but because I also sell vintage costume jewelry on my web site, Atlanta Vintage Jewelry.
Roseann Ettinger's book contains a lot of pictures that were nostalgic to me. It features deco jewelry, punk, novelty and bi-centennial pieces, plus mod and Avon jewelry popular when I was in school, and a whole lot more, including themes like 'Back to Nature'.
This book is not only great for vintage jewelry collectors or people who deal in jewelry, like myself, but also as a great reminder of when we were teens. I love it.

Great resource

This is probably the best book I have bought on vintage jewelry. The book is organized bracelet each decade. Roseanne accurately describes each person's social and fashion trends and how those influenced design in that era. She has great examples of both high quality and mid-range jewelry. That is nice because not everyone shops on Rodeo Drive and the mid- to low-end is what I can find for sale at estate sales and such. This is such a great book with great photos and has already become an invaluable reference source to me. Great job Roseanne!

good summary of trends during these periods

I loved the pictures and the categories, especially the 60's, but found the misprints and some information annoying, for example inserting something from 20 years later. Would have liked less repetition of similiar items.
