About the Author
Michael D Palmer is the Dean of the School of Divinity at Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition to numerous scholarly articles, he has published two books. Palmer has extensive experience at teaching university-level courses in moral theory, social ethics, applied ethics, and philosophy of religion. He also has considerable experience conducting professional workshops and seminars for educators in subjects relating to religion and ethics.

Absolutely Beautiful Book

This book is a treat for anyone who loves collecting and learning about vintage glassware. So many gorgeous color photos are like eye candy! And it also has a very comprehensive history of the various glass companies involved in producing the Charleton Line. I am also happy to learn that a couple of items I have owned for years are actually rare pieces. It will be a much used addition to my library of glass reference books.

Mystery Solved

This is a fabulous book! It shows so many Charleton examples and identifies the various artists. It helped me identify designs that I had wondered what they were and where they came from. It's very thorough, detailed information, and a beautiful book to look at. I refer to it often and go through it every time I research a rose pattern that isn't Dresden.
